Generation change at Media Spectrum

After Dirk Schmidt-Enzmann, founder of Media Spectrum, had already handed over the management completely to his former co-managing director Jörg Bettray in the fall of last year, he is now getting support from his own ranks in his management team. Schmidt-Enzmann now wants to withdraw more and more from the operational business.

“I am very pleased about the trust placed in me. Even when I started at Media Spectrum in 2020, it was important to me to set impulses for the company and to implement them in the team. I am looking positively at the opportunities we will have in the future due to a changed event market,” explains Melanie Schobel.

Melanie Schobel took her first step into the AV industry back in 2008 and completed a business degree with a focus on media management in 2015 while working. After various stations in the field of project management, event organization and finally in a leading position in marketing, Melanie Schobel could be won for Media Spectrum.

Jörg Bettray explains, “With Melanie, we can herald the generational change at Media Spectrum and put our know-how on a broader foundation.”

“As Media Spectrum, we want to continue to act as a competent partner for sophisticated events and media installations. With this setup, we feel well equipped for the future,” says Dirk Schmidt-Enzmann. As the company’s founder, he will focus on representative tasks and customer support in the future and provide support from the background.
